I have a rental contract for an apartment.  Can I self-register on the TM30 website as I prefer not to go through the owner?  Has anyone one recently done it?  What documents did you use?

 

The Immigration  website says 

 

1. Business license or signed copy of business registration confirmation
2. Letter of authorization to conduct the registration
3. Copy of ID card of person giving authorization person

 

 

I have no. 1 & 3 already.  I don't have no 2.  

 

Any ideas or suggestions by those who have done it?

That is provincially written for the purpose of hotels and guest houses.

For private residential properties, a copy of the Blue book, owner's ID card and a copy of your passport is sufficient.

First register.
From the Blue book, upload a copy of the address page, then the page with the owner's name. Followed by their ID card (both sides) and the data page of your passport.
