Instead of portraying him as weak, scared and desperate, they left behind the image of a leader fighting courageously an invading foreign army to his last breath. Great material for new recruits. -

What is required is more cops on the roads, not only on Bkk roads (are there any?) to reduce pollution and whilst you're at it, ensure all motorbike riders are wearing helmets. Will never happen in our lifetime. -

New Kitchen Install
The ikea kitchen I made for myself is actually an outdoor kitchen. I had extra space outside so had the roof extended for proper coverage, and made full western style kitchen outside under the roof, and with about 5.5m of countertop space. After that I have not cooked anything inside even if I do have extractor blowing the fumes out, you will always have the smell if you cook inside. The original inside kitchen basically became a 'drink kitchen' for lounge after the outside done (and sometimes eating place if bring food from outside). I have outside living room adjacent to the outside kitchen as well, and consequently have kind of outdoor lifestyle. For some reason the ladies seem to be liking it as well. -

90 days report by post
Thanks DrJack54 18 days before due date, I posted the envelope to CW. As said, 4 weeks gone by, no response. Question is: if nothing received, how to do the next 90 days? Again by post, assuming it's 90 days on top of the last due date or going to CW in person and if they want to charge a fine, showing them prove that the last one was sent in by post. Thanks -

I think there is a requirement for EMS postage on the return envelope, so 37 baht. Did your stamps total 37 baht or greater? (I know the immigration website still says 10 baht.) And it also says... Your registered mail must be sent to the Immigration office at least 15 days before the due date of notification. https://www.immigration.go.th/?page_id=1666 -

By the way, even if I was "paying more" (I'm not) that would not be avoiding those "fines", it would be paying them! Our latest celebratory events are not decided by tradition anymore but by commercial interests and political correctness. often working together to promote this rubbish. Why do homosexuals and the rest of the alphabet "community" now have 1 whole week to celebrate their chosen lifestyles where as the heroes who gave their lives in 2 world wars to ensure such freedoms exist to day are only granted one ? Could it be because there is not that much money involved in selling paper poppies? Or are there other more nefarious reasons? -
