Varnish floor
UPDATE: I will never use BEGAR paints or polyurethane again. After one season, the Begar Poly on the front of the deck that's facing the morning sun and gets rained on has completely weathered off. Even with 5 good full coats! I've switched to RTB Exterior water-soluble polyurethane. I think its far superior. Only time and the brutal Thailand weather will tell. But way easier to use and work with. More expensive, yes. German technology? RTB Eterior Polyurethane -

Trump will go after his perceived enemies
I hope he does and has them locked up. It is a scandal the way they have gone after him for next to nothing crimes while they ignored Hunter's lap top for years. -

Thailand Probes Thaksin's Alleged Political Manipulation
As i remember it the people voted in a fine young man who was not accepted for the job, not very democratic . But maybe Thaksin was involved in that too ? Any any event the following 2 puppets both seem destined to fall. So why not have another election and this time follow the peoples choice, and let this fine young man win again, and show the world there is no corruption involved. -

Causes of High Electricity Bills in Thai Apartments
Aircons are correctly like you say installed directly to the main breaker. One for each. The eletricity calculation is from the app that belongs to the Airconditioner brand. most do this now. When it comes to other stuff you want to control Fridges.. hot water heaters.. Know the spec and install for example a 150 baht like you say zigbee or wifi outlet of 16 amps. That will cover up to 3680 watt or around that range. That give you hot water metering. There are other ways to do it also of course. You can do that with an old airconditioner too. If it has alot of BTU and requires alot of amps. Go for maybe a 20 amp wifi or zigbee or even passive outlet without any app control. Its worth mentioning not all people like to check any app so these meters comes with screen directly on them also. Worth adding that this gives you no more cheaper bills, but it makes you maybe understand what the culprits are. -

Latest Retirement Extension Renewal - Bank Statement - Bangkok Bank
Previously an updated (on the day) passbook only has been accepted at my office. The other day I made a transaction as usual before going to my bank to obtain the letter for immigration and updating my passbook. I’d brought copies of my Yellow Book, wife’s Blue Book and her ID card. Only needed my passport and bank passbook copies. At immigration the lady on the photocopy machine went into overdrive, copying 12 sheets including ‘Receipt of Notification’ TM30’s. She asked me where my bank statement was as ‘‘we need them now’. As it was 60km back to my bank I asked her if there was a way around this? She smiled and nodded. Once inside a very enthusiastic officer offered to ‘check everything for me’. I told him I hadn’t yet completed my TM7 and TM8 but he said ‘I’ll do that for you, come over to my desk’. Then the fun began! He said I needed a bank statement. Also, he was concerned that there was only one transaction in 12 months in my bank passbook. Mrs asked him how much and settled on 500 baht. We then sat there amazed at the amount of scanning and printing he then did. I can’t see a way around this as although my Bangkok Bank app will send 12 months statement history to my email the information will be as of 2 days prior. Plus, if we get the same officer next time he won’t like my lack of transactions! I wouldn’t object if they returned to the full VIP service when we used to telephone to make an appointment, all forms were completed for us with no questions asked. I only needed to supply photographs, photocopies and sit for desk cam photo. -

Short term volunteering; visas and work permits
Paid or unpaid, he would need a Non Imm O (volunteer) visa and work permit to be legal. Q: An NGO in Thailand has invited me to go there and work for them as a volunteer for 45 days during my school break. I will not earn any money in Thailand. I am a Belgian college student in Brussels. I understand that I do not need a visa, do I? A: Although you will work as a volunteer, you do need a Non-Immigrant visa as well as the Work Permit. The NGO must be legally registered with the Thai authority, and that you need a recommendation letter from the NGO for your visa application and the Work Permit. https://www.mfa.go.th/en/publicservice/questions-answers-on-thai-visa?cate=5d5bcb4e15e39c30600068d3 -

Tell me why Pattaya to BKK by his
I do a 4 night stay trip to Bangkok every month. Jomtien Airport Bus - Airport Rail Link - MRT to hotel which is across the road from the station. I find it an easy journey, reliable service and the cost saving over taking a taxi pays for half the hotel cost. Makes perfect sense for me.
