90 days missed.

Recommended Posts

always do my report on line ,, and get a reminder email from immigration it's due....  except for last month .. and by the time I realized I missed it, it was 2 weeks past due . Instead of going to the big office in Hua Hin I went to the satellite office in Bluport Mall not as busy but I got a 2000Baht fine and they put a stamp in my passport noting the fine and a case#20241023_051832.thumb.jpg.77dd2623d32ba2159c83ea6a9aca5c19.jpg

Has anyone on a DTV confirmed we also have to do this?  It sounds like we do but it was never pointed out to me in any of the documentation when I applied, when it was issued, when I entered, or in any of the official DTV info I have read.

I would imagine there will be lots of people entering on a DTV who will be unaware of this requirement since it doesn't seem to be mentioned anywhere in any of the tourist info.

Strange, the window for online reporting is either 15 days before to 7 days before, or 15 days before to the due date (depends on who you believe, lol) But there is no provision for reporting late online, only in person.

15 days prior, 7 days after in person.

Unless otherwise specifically instructed, then if staying continuously for 90 days in Thailand, then a 90-day report must be filed.

That's CW and perhaps only applicable there.

My IO still use this;

"I prefer to believe immigration themselves." There are times when even individual immigration officers in the same office will tell you different things.

I file my 90 day on the last possible day, otherwise I'm reporting less than every 90 days.
If rejected, which the last 4 out of 6 have been, then it's only a 10-minute drive to file in person.
Obviously a PITA if you're an hour's drive away.

I apply for my annual extension 30–45 days before the due date, as the new extension is dated from expiry of the previous extension.

What does PITA stand for? You are on a forum, not texting on your smartphone.

That info graph was posted by Immigration.

The new info graph was posted specifically by Bangkok Immigration and only appears on their specific website.

The general Immigration website still states;

Note ** Aliens can report their residence before 15 days or after 7 days from the due date. If the deadline is exceeded or the notification date is exceeded, aliens must report themselves in person to proceed with the fine comparison.

**In the case of exceeding the residence notification deadline, foreigners who report themselves will be subject to a fine of 2,000 baht.

Having just submitted a 90 day report earlier this month, my IO confirmed online it is still 14 day before up to the due date.
