Man Killed by Falling Concrete Wall in Kanchanaburi

The incident occurred in the Wang Sala area of Tha Muang District, Kanchanaburi on November 2,  where a man lost his life after being crushed by a concrete wall. The Miracle of Life Foundation (Khun Rattanawut) in Kanchanaburi received an emergency alert from their communications centre regarding a serious injury incident involving a concrete collapse.

Upon receiving the report, local volunteers were dispatched to the scene. They found one male victim trapped beneath a section of a concrete wall from a nearby house, with the man still seated on the ground under the heavy slab.

It is believed that the man was sat at the base of the wall doing some minor repair work, when a section of the wall collapsed, crushing him underneath.

Emergency responders were able to raise the wall section using rooes and remove the casualty and thoroughly assess the victim’s condition and sadly confirmed that he had died at the scene from multiple crush injuries and fractures.
 

Medical and police personnel were called to support further investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collapse.
