A bit like those 2 New Zealanders who beat up a cop and stole his gun ! Unbelievable. Would they do that in their own country?

Probably not in NZ.

As their cops usually don't  carry any guns unlike many other countries.

So no guns on cops they can steal.

I have heard this in late 1980s.

And it still remains the same.

does nz police carry handgun for daily services? - Google Search

Looking at the photo it appears he is relatively short and is suffering from short man syndrome. Trying to act tough by taking control of the situation by not co-operating with the police. I'm sure he will be using the Kiwi defense that he was fearful for his life being threatened by the corrupt police. It was an act of sel defense at the check-point. Silly little boy.

Napoleon Complex at its worst?

What is worse, he did it in a Wrong Country.

Unlike some sick part of the 1st world, this kingdom doesn't offer hotel-like

room with A/C.

Prison is meant to punish those of the wrongdoings here.

I can’t imagine what beatings he may incur possibly by the cops and prison guards during his lengthy lock up before his deportation

That's what we call Consequences.

No sympathy with that low life.

His selfishness nearly killed a man.

At the very least, he should be wearing a shirt, in order to conform to local cultural mores.

Don't think he needs a shirt as he's not driving but as he is outside he does need underwear so where is his bra ?

In Thailand, being naked in the public place is regarded rude.

So many of the Thais keep their usual clothes on even while they bathe at sea.

Pump him full of female hormones until his muscles atrophy and he starts lactating and watching "The View".

Watching the View?  I would not impose this on anyone.  I have NEVER watched.  Just look at the hosts.

Only when done immediately.  Things move quickly, with the required "donation" increasing with each new layer that gets involved. He'll get one, perhaps two bites at the apple before things spiral out of control.

Sounds like the "Red Bull" incident that allegedly killed a cop at a checkpoint.

But unlikely this foreigner will be able to escape the country until statue of limitations runs out, nor be able to corrupt police investigators to the extent charges can't be filed in an absentia trial.

I doubt his family have the same financial resources as the Red Bull clan.

Yes, and that's the disparity in the police and judicial system - inability to corrupt them!
