Are you staying, leaving or coming? If leaving why ?

For me, it was three factors who finely made my choice. This spring was horrible hot, extended the burning seasons, and possible being taxed in Thailand, even I will actually maybe save some by doing so. Still we will be able to live in Thailand partly, and we (wife) still have investments here, so future will tell how we will do it in future.

To me the otters are; good weather Oct 15 - March 15.

Real cheap to live, great cheap food and (did I already mention?) Women.

obvious things, you can bring your girl everywhere if you want, but I did put invested to much to leave, and great food you can get everywhere.

I was so happy to stay in Spain last week, wow, I missed the meditarian food and quality wine, and the climate was perfect until I left and it went to a catastrphic dissaster a little bit further north of us.

Left 3 years ago with my son so I could raise/educate him in Canada.

Just moved into our new custom build house and life could not be better.

Thailand was fun until it wasn't, and that happened in a day, July 1 2013, the day my ex-wife was arrested from our house and sent to the monkey house.

Why would I leave?????

I live a upper (American type) middle class lifestyle with a wife ( Thai ) in a 2BR house with fenced yard and a garden ( wife's). in a gated community 20 minutes from center city.( also have condo just outside BKK area ). 4 major stores within 5 minutes away, Immigration 10 minutes away.

My TOTAL LIVING EXPENSES are 40% LESS than just the COST of my large 1BR apartment in a complex, in a medium size USA city when I was single.

I spent 2 winters in Gran Canaria. Loved the weather, always perfect, but $ 130 a night compared to $ 20-30 same level hotels in Th and Vn makes me return to Asia.

Also getting nice female company (regular chicas, no putas) will cost lot of more. Time and money. Or simply won't happen...

What is different between "American type " & "Australian type" ???

The cost living in Spain is higher of course, but western quality food and wine is cheaper. Anyway, the hot season in Spain is nothing to eager for either, to hot and winter can be somehow very cold depending on where you are. Canaries have the best climate of course compared to main land.

I saw many western men with asian wifes there, so seems many have been in Asia picked a girl and brought them back with them to spain. Quite straight forward being an eu member moving to another eu country and getting visa for your wife

Yeah, consider arm bands if going to Spain too.
