They'd love to do it but the Tories left a 22bn hole in the finances and they need that 22bn for carbon capture  obviously many newly formed consultancies will have to be paid also.

I wouldnt live next to "affordable" housing if you paid me..........its council houses disguised under a trendy name, theyll end up being  dumps and demolished in 30 years, rinse and repeat, thats whats been done since the 50's council house by me  built in the 70's demolished as slums even though well built.  Dont see any privately owned  houses demolished  in such a short time frame.Its money down the drain, if they dont own it and get cheap rent they couldnt care less about it. Its not the houses its the type of people who live in them.

House prices are astronomical in the UK. Largely due to a massive supply and demand issue caused by the influx of huge numbers of immigrants. 

 

What they are doing is removing much needed assistance for low income indigenous people and handing it out to (often illegal) immigrants.

Surely not, Reeves said she would go through it line by line, but we are still waiting. (only joking, of course it was).

 

I think there will be a shortfall going forward as revenue is not raised as they expected from taxing business via NI. The problem with the Left is that they think the economy is static and not dynamic and will stand for higher taxes, rather than ceasing to invest. "business can pay for the NHS" will ring hollow.
