What a great job opportunity.

And cultural display for Italy.

Maybe we'll see the Star of India - world’s oldest active sailing ship. https://sdmaritime.org/visit/the-ships/star-of-india/

I would like to see the USS Constitution, also known as Old Ironsides - a three-masted wooden-hulled heavy frigate of the United States Navy. She is the world's oldest commissioned naval warship still afloat.

What a great ship!

I had an opportunity to sail on the TS Royalist,

Climbing the rigging was a great experience,

I will never forget!

I sailed on the Soren Larson for 6 months all the way up the Australian coast, I was the ship’s carpenter, got 10 dollars a day pay, was an amazing experience!

Did anyone manage to book a visit?  The Amerigo Vespucci website has a label under the tour schehule saying "Sold Out".  A pity that Phuket News only published this opportunity after it had already begun!

Not quite so ornate, but I sailed here from Europe on the ship, Star Clipper, which used to be based in Phuket during the high season.

38 days from Athens to Phuket via Suez Canal, the Red Sea, Goa, Kerala, Sri Lanka and the Similan Islands - an incredible journey…
