Thai FDA Seizes Illegal Chinese Goods in Bangkok Supermarkets

In a significant crackdown, the Thai Food and Drug Administration (FDA), alongside police and local authorities, has confiscated over 94,000 illegal Chinese consumer products from Bangkok shops over the past three months. According to FDA deputy secretary-general Lertchai Lertvut, 47 Chinese supermarkets were raided from 31 July to 4 November, uncovering 341 product categories that breached Thai labelling regulations.
