I can only compare this fight to my Mrs reaction to my performance last night - a complete anti-climax (in more ways than one)....

Well that’s $40 million in the bank for Paul and $20 for Tyson, no losers in the ring only those shelling out big money to watch this dull match.

cost me Bt.0.05 to watch.

It is a good reminder to all of us who still think we have it in us after we became 50 years.

I did pick up the gloves and hit the gym, and was offered a match around 50, but I laughed and turned it down. Didn't want to be the clown for the night in Hua Hin 😁

6 years later, I know I can go on dead targets, but no way fighting anyone younger than me.

As well, you never know the other person you might be in trouble with in a street fight

as much as I wanted Tyson to knock Paul out, Paul won on points.  The fact Tyson at 58 went the distance says a alot for Tyson's fitness but also says that Paul aint as good as he thinks he is.

I think it was more Paul knew he had won by the 5th round and didn't want to knock his older friend out in the last 3 rounds (which would look bad Paul knocking out an old man)

Any ears bitten off?

Tyson kept biting his left glove a lot...when asked why in post fight interview he said "I've always done it, I have a biting fixation"

Obviously Tysons Knee made a stop to perform better in the fight, so,

Well that's the price you have to pay when getting older, and try to exercise and perform as you used to do. That's the nature of becoming older,

Went the distance? It was 8 rounds of 2 minutes.  About the third of a fight back in the day when it was 15 rounds and still less than half of a 12 rounder.

Still, fair play to a man of his age, certainly more fit than most people nudging 60. I Certainly wouldn't want to be beaten around the ring by Tyson 😉

The fight itself though was embarrassing. It surely eliminated all possibilities of a rematch.

Yes, that's how I described it. Tyson looked bewildered walking to the ring and more like 68 than 58.  Hopefully he will manage this pot properly so he doesn't have to sell his dignity again.  Just a pathetic event.  That YouTuber doesn't belong in the ring with a real boxer of any age, but money is the name of the game.  One thing Tyson still did well was slipping punches, but he still got caught a few times and would have been dead if Paul hadn't pulled the punches.

The women's fight was excellent. Shame about the officiating and judges though; rotten to the core.

Fixed!!!

What did you expect from an exhibition match? Do you also scream Rigged!, Hoax!! and Fixed!!! when watching WWE? Its not sport, its a money making machine and both "boxers" got paid handsomely for doing a dance.

Just watched it tonight.  I'm not sure about staged, but Paul was clearly holding back.  I don't know if Tyson was also, but there really wasn't much going on.  Very boring fight.

It's possible that Paul didn't actually want to hurt Tyson, as he was scared of any comeback.  Or perhaps they were both simply sparing to go the distance.

As another poster already pointed out, they were wearing 14 Oz gloves, which are actually designed for sparring.
