When you think of the cost of a flight here, accomodation etc, I think that's actually a good idea that might actually  act as a deterrent for this kind of anti-social behaviour by tourists. Certainly sleeping it off for a night with possibly a few thousand baht fine seems too light. I hate the yobbos from back home bringing their loutish behaviour out here thinking they'll be no serious consequences.

Yeah, I give it to you. You predicted it. I was just trying to be nice, and hoping it was another nationality this time. Unfortunately, we have learned that it´s 75% Brits who come to Thailand and behave bad.

As you already done, I would also like to offer my apologies on behalf of the British farangs in Thailand. We need to come together to fix this very notable problem, and stop deny the clear facts that it exists.

I completely agree that 'some British' behave poorly...     But to tarnish 'all British' with that negative image is a flawed sweeping generalisation that is wholly inaccurate...

Agreed...  when anyone is caught behaving like this..   particularly when unprovoked, giving them a 'ban' would certainly improve things...  as a preventative measure, but also preventing these fools from returning.

In any case, he looked like a scared rabbit when he walked into the  restaurant/bar. I didn't see any type of aggression on his part. Nor are we shown the part where he gets beaten on the back of his head. perhaps there is more to this story than the edited recording?

I read that to mean that when these incidents occur there is a 75% chance it will be a Brit.
