Hi
https://www.bangkokpost.com/business/general/2860812/law-to-tax-income-from-overseas-in-the-works
A few months ago the Thai Revenue Department confirmed that they're working on a law to tax overseas income but since then I don't believe we've heard any updates. Some people were thinking it would be implemented in 2025 but with only 5 weeks left of this year it seems unlikely they'll be able to pass a new law and implement it for next year?
Which would mean the earliest it could come into effect would be 2026 which would be good news.
O please I think its pretty common knowledge the most wealthy Thais dont pay taxes....(They would never lower them self to be a tax payer)
And who set a fine example for the Nation of Thailand in sticking it to the tax man.....But a Billionaire former prime minister...
I think its clear only a small sub set of the middle class pay any taxes in Thailand.....And I can only imagine the creative accounting involved in the few Thais that actually pay taxes instead of just filing to get refunds...
Yes. It's definitely one of the friendliest border crossings. Too out of the way to be overrun with border bouncers, which makes it pleasantly relaxed.
10 year old thread!
Nevertheless, friend who takes in many strays usually uses a vet near her village for around 1400 baht.
Asked for a quote from a "new " pet clinic not too far from the airport and was quoted 12,000 baht ( did include blood test).
You can probably guess where she went.
