The UK/Philippines reciprocal agreement which covers pensions does not cover medical treatment.

Right, so what does it cover?

The Philippenes are on the list of where you can still receive pension increases.

My knowledge of people from the UK who move to Thailand is that they stop costing the UK money of the day they leave.  What justification is there for stopping their pension increases?

None that I know of, just there is no agreement in place to give the increases.

Right, I would maybe not disagree with freezing pensions if I could see the justification for it.

Maybe you guys should start a new thread?

Something to think about before you do: You may stop costing the UK for doctor/hospital appointments and/or treatment when you move to another country; on the other side, the money you get leaves the UK; thus, it does not help keep the wheels turning in the UK.

It has been suggested that anyone failing to respond in the given time will have their accounts frozen.

Correct, I was thinking the same but it wouldn't be a new topic - its been discussed hundreds of times.
