English food is well known to be terrible and will make you run or vomit. Or both. Nothing to do with "hater" (obviously you don't know even the word's meaning) but fact.

What is your reason for hating the English ?

Are you Argentinian or something ?

Absolute rubbish. There are so many great English dishes, the most popular being Tikka Masala. A real steak & kidney suet pudding is so good.

Don`t forget the "mucky fat butties" a Barnsley Yorkshire delicacy 👍

"Chicken tikka masala may derive from butter chicken, a popular dish in the northern Indian subcontinent."

It didn't sound real English so I googled. Doesn't matter - if it's good.

To me REAL English cooking is/was horror show food program by "Two Fat Ladies on Motorcycle!"

It was Lard, Butter, Cream, Fat and more Butter...

One said "If in doubt use more Butter!" And oh boy - they did use.

Otherwise I liked them a lot! Two old, maybe '70's or '8o's old ladies riding old motobike with side car on terrible English country roads in mud and rain... Tough gals! And they seemed to be on good mood all the time and were having fun.

I wonder if they still are alive?

Down South from  Barnsley, in Sheffield known as dripping cakes. Pork dripping on a bap/roll/breadcake/flourcake. Sold in butty and butchers' shops many moons ago, not sure if they still are. Add salt and hope you get plenty of tasty jellied bits.

Delish. 😋

your usual sprouting garbage again :vampire:

And your obligated gibberish. If you don't have anything to say (as always) you're creating nonsense. Go on with boozing, the best what you can do obviously.

Yes, you're right. I should not read such nonsense about 'Best English Food'.

On the other hand there isn't any good english food.

Good food should be light, tasty and healthy. Full of all necessary vitamins, minerals, proteins and carbohydrates.

And all this english food can't offer: rushers, sausages, pudding, beans or mashed potatoes is not healthy. Everybody with brain knows this. Of course there is excellent food in Britain available beside Fish and chips in newspaper served.

Maybe members here are too old to change their habits

Fish and chips in newspaper served.

Fish & Chips were NEVER served directly in newspaper. That was used as a insulation wrapped around the grease-proof paper on which the food was placed.

Nope, both brown bread. And only one Hairy Biker left.

Sorry I'm about to eat the last one today, but  making a new batch in December.

Here's the recipe I follow with a little more pepper.

Give it a go, better then the ones you buy in Thailand.

you can just make a patties instead of using a sausage machine, if you like.

Give it a go.

I'm nor sure about that... maybe now but not in '80s. The paper got soggy in minutes...

Only food I eat in London was Fish & Chips and Bangers & Smash at local pub.

Both were cheap and life savers for poor student on Zero budget. Very tasty too.

Healthy? Didn't come in mind.

That's the reason to try again!

I also eat too much chocolate ice cream but who cares? Makes me feel good.

But thread isn't about good healthy english food. It's about the best bangers 'n mash in Jomtien.

Ever since these sausages were removed from Makro , I haven't been able to find a decent sausage anywhere.

They were excellent sausages. Shame they are no longer stocked, and no one else seems to sell them.
