Do you know the important part of above? It's the fact that Biden struggle with the decision. As father, he obviously wants to support his son, as president, he knows that he shouldn't use his position for personal reasons.

For Trump this would be much easier. He pardons just everybody who he likes and who gives him something in return.

How idiotic. You're really on a roll.

I believe Trump stated he would pardon Hunter if he was Biden. That he would pardon his own son.

He should pardon Hunter. Why not? His reputation is shambles anyway.

Let us not forget the FBI certifying the laptop as Russian, notifying social media of Russian disinformation campaign involving said laptop and the 50 or 200 (?) lame ass security operatives that signed a public declaration that the laptop was Russian propaganda. All lies

and all right in the final days of the election.

That is so illegal, so election tampering, fraud and performed by US elected and career apparatchiks.

WASHINGTON — Special counsel Jack Smith on Monday filed motions to drop all federal charges against President-elect Donald Trump regarding his mishandling of classified documents and his effort to overturn the 2020 presidential election in the lead-up to the deadly Jan. 6 attack on the U.S Capitol.

Hours later, U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan granted Smith's motion to dismiss the Jan. 6-related indictment, formally bringing to an end the case that alleged Trump unlawfully conspired to overturn his 2020 loss to President Joe Biden.

Dismissed without prejudice, which means the charges can be reinstated in 2029.

Of course I know that.

For example, I know there's a little short guy who rides around Pattaya on a red Vespa claiming he's some sort of babe magnet, when the reality is he couldn't get a woman to hold his hand without dipping into his USG pension.

As for what I write, just pay attention to the news if you survive the next 4 years. I'm either right or an anonymous fraud, but only time will tell.

Why the fixation on short guys on a Vespa, which are super cool by the way.

Their entire party is in tatters. They need to build it back better. The entire foundation is rotten.

I don't believe that. They just played by the rules as they wanted to take the high road. Failing to realize (after nearly 8 years) that politics has changed drastically. So until they come to the conclusion that to win it back, they have to stop following the rules and act more like Republicans. Otherwise it will be a Republican government for at least 16 years. By then the USA as you have known it, will no longer exist.

Last time i checked unless you live in some sort of tyrannical dictatorship you have the presumption of innocence when accused. Shall we respect that or do you want to take the Hungarian Hitler approach?

I know that within the framework of the current version of revisionist history that's taking place, 36 counts of fraud do not mean anything, but the man is a convicted felon and a criminal, and I'm not just talking about those convictions.

36 counts of fraud, all because when he reimbursed his attorney for arranging a perfectly legal non-disclosure agreement, his bookkeeper listed it as a legal expense.

False. Revisionist history.

In the fall of 2022, New York Attorney General Letitia James filed a civil suit against Trump, his adult sons, and his former aide Allen Weisselberg, alleging a years-long scheme in which Trump fraudulently reported the value of properties in order to either lower his tax bill or improve the terms of his loans, all with an eye toward inflating his net worth.

In another case the charges included willful retention of national-security information, obstruction of justice, withholding of documents, and false statements. Trump took boxes of documents to properties, where they were stored haphazardly, but the indictment centered on his refusal to give them back to the government despite repeated requests.

And in yet another case

In Fulton County, Georgia, which includes most of Atlanta, District Attorney Fani Willis brought a huge racketeering case against Trump and 18 others, alleging a conspiracy that spread across weeks and states with the aim of stealing the 2020 election.

More than any other case, this one attempts to reckon with the full breadth of the assault on democracy following the 2020 election.

Shall I go on?

That is funny. I am not deciding anything. I am merely witnessing it happening. Deny all you want. You can support him. No reason to deny who and what he truly is.

And that will be overturned on appeal immediately after sentencing.

doesnt get to the WH.

All the dems thought about was blocking

Trumps legal exceptions in NYC.

Doj joined Bragg , who at one time was against pursuing Trump . They found the right judge( dem Merchan) who gaged Trump & wouldn’t allow a change of venue ( Manhattan’s voters are 90% dems ) . It was etched in stone they would get a favorable ruling .

Where is Robert DeNero ?

Biden should have pardoned Hunter on day one of his term, just to reduce the appearance of sitting across the negotiating table from adversarial world leaders that may have had evidence that could put his kid away for a loooong time.  It would have hurt him at the polls in 2024, but it would have been the right thing to do for national security.

And 2024 took care of itself anyway.

BTW, I say that, not as a fan of Hunter or his antics.  But national security (and world peace) are bigger than one addict's penance.

No one should EVER receive a pardon except obviously innocent. Everyone, including the ruling elite, should be subject to the laws of the nation.

In an ideal world, I'd agree with you.  I'd also hope that voters wouldn't have elected such a vulnerable candidate had they known the laptop was real.

Once he was inaugurated, national security should have taken precedence, and he should have eliminated all the potential conflicts by pardoning Hunter.  That way, there would have been no risk he'd be compromised in any negotiation.

This is good news for people like me who still hold lots of secrets from our days in the agency and carrying TS/SCI  and (actual) Q clearances (not the silly Q as in QAnon, but Q as in a clearance to see nuclear related intel at the DoE).

It's okay to use highly classified material in any way we so choose. Eff US national security. Monetize the secrets if that is to one's advantage.

I was fortunate enough to become wealthy after I left the agency, but folks still working there, who now know both intelligence and the US itself are dying or dead, might as well use their knowledge for personal advantage.

Imagine what Putin would pay to know whom in his inner circle is a clandestine asset for the CIA ! Even al Qaeda is flush with cash, and they would pay to know what US intel knows. And then there's weapons systems...China and Russia would love to know what the US military can do, and what is in the pipeline. Ka-ching! It's auction time!

45 stole highly classified intel regarding everything from nukes to weapons systems to order of battle to identities of clandestine assets in hostile nations or areas. I have no doubt whatsoever he intended to monetize it, as clearly he needed cash (why else would he schlepp silly NFTs, golden sneakers, commemorative coins, Chines-made Bibles, Chinese watches, and now rip offs of Les Paul guitars?) If it's good for the goose.....

SC Smith is wise enough to know the system is broken. Institutions failed. The rule of law no longer exists in many ways. Some folks are above the law. Even the stacked Supreme Court says Madison and Jefferson were wrong and that the US is kind of a monarchy. Little guys---like a guy who took a doc or two home to work on the weekend---get 12 years in jail, but a guy who put national security and the identities of clandestine assets and programs at risk gets re-elected to the White House.

The people got what they think they want, but it will come with consequences. Liaison cooperation is finished for at least the next 4 years. No more Five Eyes. Also, no sharing of intel with non-Five Eyes nations like France, Japan, South Korea, Israel, etc.  They all know 47 cannot be trusted, and neither can Tulsi Gabbard be trusted. The risks that were thwarted because of liaison cooperation now have a wide open door to get the US. So be it. That's what the democratic majority wanted, so give it to them in spades. Terror attack, dirty bomb, bioterror, disrupt the electric grid, poison water supplies....enjoy!

In the meantime, my former colleagues, see what you've got and think of who might make your 401K sing paying for it.

Anybody want to know what Putin has on 47 and who told me? It's going to cost you.

Translation: Im such a confirmed Leftist that I would sell out my country if I could
