Sorry, stopped reading after, to start with....
I believe one of two things will happen. Either countries will bow down to the Orange one and go along with what he wants. Or, many Westernized nations will band together, set up trade programs, social programs, and become like the EU of the world and leave the US to its own devices.
Slapping a 25% tarrif on Mexico & Canada to get them to stop illegal immigration and drugs is crazy. This would destroy Canadas economy. So unless Trudeau and the other leaders both provincially and federal, don't start looking at alternatives to trading with the US, Canada will become a defacto state of the US.
On a side note, if the Orange one wants to stop immigrants coming across the Southern border all he needs to do is give the order to shoot anyone coming across the border at any place not designated an official border crossing. With SCOTUS giving him full immunity for any order given, illegal crossing would cease after 2 days once they see 30 to 40,000 bodies piled up on the Mexican side. I am sure there would be no shortage of volunteers to do this when called upon.
Yep, that's a wonderful suggestion, get a lawyer and take the owner to court and fight the case, so he can continue remaining living there where he'll cross paths with the owner and the owner's family every day. He'll really feel like he's living in the Land of Smiles then. And next time the owner or the owner's son gets drunk he'll probably cop a shellacking.
I live in Thailand. I need to pick up a bicycle in Padang Besar , Malaysia (PBMY), and bring it back to Padang Besar, Thailand (PBTH).
Is it possible to take a taxi in PBTH that can drive into PBMY and back to PBTH?
We have here a bitterly disputed subject of incompatible views based upon diametrically opposed interpretations of events.
Perhaps the following strongly-voiced argument can shed further light on the issue:
(Note: the defendant of the Palestinian position is a Jewish doctor who lost his parents in Auschwitz, who has spent time in Gaza and has changed his outlook over time. We all change over time, unless we are brain-dead)
