Off to the shop for a new paint job and back to work in a couple days. I agree that they should have confiscated them until they were licensed.

In a significant move towards enhancing maritime safety, police in Phuket confiscated six unlicensed jet skis during an impactful raid at Cape Yamu, Pa Khlok, Thalang.

Did I miss something?

It is not clear if the jet skis were returned to their operators after the 10000 baht fines were imposed.

if the authorities exercised   vigilance on a regular basis there would be no need for crackdowns. They usually last one day and a publicity stunt.
