Little point bothering with such a cornucopia of comprehensive and fantastic conspiracy theories!

The next full moon here is in the evening of the 15th of December. I take it you will be outside howling at it?

Nah, all be at the MAGA rally. Huge bonfires  torches, pitchforks. If you can squirrel away a bit of cash from your government pension you should come. Effigies of the entire Biden cabinet will be burned.

Oh, so if you were in Joe's position, you would not help out your son, is that correct.....?  🤭

I watched Jimmy Kimmel discuss this pardon. Now I know that he provokes intense reactions, (I find him funny and sharp) and I am sure some here will be sharpening their pens and opening bottles of extra strength vitriol, but this is what he said: first he said that the pardon was unprecedented, and definitely to be criticised on many grounds, but he also pointed out, correctly I think, that if Hunter Biden were not pardoned then elements within US politics would go after him, endlessly, to drag him down. They would go after him until they had him in Prison indefinitely, doing so to get to his father. This despite (as Kimmel pointed out)  exhaustive Congressional inquiries over two years, which have completely failed to produce anything apart from a rich vein of conspiracy theories.

Trumps nominees to run various agencies and departments have already declared intentions to hound Hunter Biden. He is, as a recovering alcoholic and drug addict, certainly unstable and mentally fragile; they must be aware that they may, possibly, be hounding him to the extent that he may well take his own life. An expectation and ambition which may be there, if unstated.

President Biden's pardon to his son raises a number of issues, but it thwarts an attempt to "get" an old man, in his last years, by destroying his son.

Did you find Jimmy's black face funny ? Or the time he played what's in my pants.

Those funny and sharp parts of Jimmy are awesome I,agree with you.

President Biden's pardon to his son raises a number of issues, but it thwarts an attempt to "get" an old man, in his last years, by destroying his son.

Robert Hunter Biden (Hunter Biden) pleaded guilty in federal court in Los Angeles this afternoon to all counts in a nine-count indictment, including three felony tax offenses and six misdemeanor tax offenses. There was no plea agreement.

Judge Scarsi accepted the defendant’s guilty plea and scheduled sentencing for December 16, 2024.

According to the indictment, Hunter Biden engaged in a four-year scheme in which he chose not to pay at least $1.4 million in self-assessed federal taxes he owed for tax years 2016 through 2019 and to evade the assessment of taxes for tax year 2018 when he filed false returns.  As alleged in the indictment, to further this scheme, Hunter Biden:

  • subverted the payroll and tax withholding process of his own company by withdrawing millions outside of the payroll and tax withholding process;
  • spent millions of dollars on an extravagant lifestyle rather than paying his tax bills;
  • in 2018, stopped paying his outstanding and overdue taxes for tax year 2015;
  • willfully failed to pay his 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 taxes on time, despite having access to funds to pay some or all of these taxes;
  • willfully failed to file his 2017 and 2018 tax returns, on time; and
  • when he did finally file his 2018 returns, included false business deductions in order to reduce the very substantial tax liability he faced as of February 2020.

At sentencing, Hunter Biden faces a maximum penalty of 17 years in prison. Actual sentences for federal crimes are typically less than the maximum penalties. A federal district court judge will determine any sentence after taking into account the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.

Court documents and information for this case is located on the website of the District Court for the Central District of California or on PACER by searching for Case No. 2:23-cr-00599.

It's understandable Biden pardons his own son for crimes charged and convicted, but to blanket pardon over past decade is unconscionable and amoral.

In true banana republic style.. watch for more Biden crime family syndicate pardons to come 👍

The default shi+lib response is buh buh buh T T Trump .... False equivalency, second Trump has not been found criminally guilty of anything despite the decade of lies and lawfare.

Dinky dau always shows

Where you lived the last years? You did not know that a TV presenter and convicted criminal was elected to become POTUS?

Go back😂

He is the President and should uphold the law despite his personal feelings for his son. Equal justice for all. Lead by example. Two tier justice for the privileged is not confined to the USA.

Yes, and Canada elected a part-time high school drama teacher because he had a famous last name. ALmost every country does the same to one extent or another.  Nothing to do with the pardon though. Just another example of Trump being a master of the real estate game- he is STILL living inside your head, rent-free, going on 8 years now.

One problem with the pardon may be... and remember, I am not a lawyer.  But now that Hunter has been pardoned, he can be compelled to testify before Congress. His Fifth Amendment protections may not apply because he cannot incriminate himself due to the pardon. So he can be grilled about any payments from foreign entities to various Biden family members, including himself.  That may leave a lot of people feeling very uncomfortable...

I think everyone knew Hunter would be pardoned. Had Harris won, she would have pardoned him and Joe would not have had to.

What I like most about it, is that President Biden has only confirmed what Trump has bees saying for years, which is that the DOJ is corrupt and politically motivated.

What happened to "nothing to hide, nothing to fear."?

Politicians! All tarred with the same brush.

101% correct & all my children know that as they were taught that.

Meaning don't do the crime if you can't do the time

Actions have consequences ...Your actions your consequences

What kind of father does Joe look like now?

I'm a father, and were I President, and my son were going to jail for similar charges, I would pardon him.

I think Biden is likely a lousy father, and largely responsible for the situation Hunter is in.

Pardons are within the law. Once the DOJ let the statutes run out on Hunter's real crimes, I think everyone knew Hunter would never do a day.

It is amusing that the left is now blaming Trump for Hunter's pardon....

Hunter doesn't play a role anymore. Same as his dad, though this one did a step to the next war, which will leave no winner

 Joe  blighted any presidential reputation  he had left at the close of his tenure in a  blatent show

of nepotism.

How he can claim political persicution for Hunter after the Dems  persicuted Trump with legal persicution

All I remember is how often powerful people on the left were so vocal and clear about all of this not happening. While at the same time saying it's what Trump might possibly do in the future.

Makes me miss a little at times what the hateful 8 would reply with to this kind of thread.

It doesn't matter if Dementia Joe pardons Hunter and even himself. The public knows that the Biden family is horrendously corrupt and that they sold out the country for personal gain. That's their legacy even with a pile of pardons.

The Hunter pardon is a distraction. Way more significant is the issue of how the Biden family got rich on the back of their involvements In the former eastern-bloc countries.
