Does anyone know what has happened to Lipton teabags?  Hardly anywhere seems to sell them anymore.  Not great teabags but if nothing else is about,  then they are alright. but they seem to have vanished from Thailand.

you answered your own question
they were great when nothing else was available
now plenty of tea bags are available, who needs lipton...?

WHY?

I don't remember.  I hadn't had tea in a long time and I just picked them up, I guess.  I'm sure I didn't think about it at all.

Obviously. Did you like it?

I thought it was OK, but then again, I don't usually drink that kind of tea, so for all I know, there are other kinds I. might prefer.

There certainly are, as mentioned in some of these posts. 'English' tea is a blend of Ceylon, Assam and other teas, some of the favourite being TyPhoo & PG Tips. But my favourite, as I posted, is Taylor's Yorkshire tea, good strong and tasty. Try a few of them from Shopee or Laz.

Typhoo, PG and Yorkshire are all available on Lazada or Shopee, a bit expensive but all much better than that Lipton's cat pee.

Available in    Pattaya's    Big  C Extra too

Liptons is OK for me. Just give them a bit longer than others to brew in the cup. Haven't seen them in Pattaya much lately; even 7/11 used to stock the boxes of 25.

Being a "long term" tea drinker, I now buy the Waitrose Original blend tea bags from Tops or the Luxury Gold tea bags from M+S, as IMO nothing else compares, but I have yet to try Yorkshire Tea.............

I agree. The trick is to leave them in the cup for a while and you can actually get a half decent cup of tea (sometimes)
