They have the advantage of having learned basic phrases as a foreign language. The Brits in Thailand mostly speak dialects such a Geordie or Brummie, filled with barbarous local idioms, nearly incomprehensible to non-dialect speakers. Over a couple of decades, I did encounter one Brit who spoke Received Pronunciation. He was an Oxford grad, however. Extraordinarily rare, no?

Well, I think you better get used to it, Just in my tamboon they have invested millions, I don't see any other nationality do that.
