A crash occurred in Surat Thani early morning on December 8, when a four-wheeled delivery truck lost control and crashed into a utility pole, resulting in the death of a young woman.

At approximately 04:25 the Khun Thale Police Station received a report of the crash in front of Ban Don Kliang School on the Surat-Nasarn Road in Khun Thale Subdistrict, Mueang District, Surat Thani. Rescue teams from the Kusol Sattha Foundation were dispatched to the scene with extraction equipment to assist.

At the site, responders found a white Isuzu delivery truck registered in Bangkok and operated by a logistics company. The vehicle had veered off the road and collided with a utility pole. The front cabin was heavily damaged, trapping a severely injured woman in the passenger seat.

The victim, identified as Ms. Miltra, 23, a resident of Phanom District in Surat Thani, was unresponsive and later pronounced dead at the scene. Rescue workers used cutting tools to extract her body from the wreckage and transported it to Surat Thani Hospital for further examination.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the truck was driven by the victim’s husband who was not named, 30, and was en route to deliver packages from a warehouse in Khun Thale to Phang Nga Province. Police are continuing their investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
