Well you should.   It was also reported at length, and got a lot of comment, here.

I admire your dedication to this forum Lou, but I don’t have time to read every story.

So a brief summary would stop the drink driving, killed a local speculation.

So called travel insurance may or may not provide medical evacuation.

Especially when you really need it.

Best to have a separate medical evacuation insurance when traveling.

It’s relatively inexpensive.

 I use Medjet assist.

Different pay plans for different time lengths abroad.

Eliminates the need for GoFundzMe.

Quite possibly but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t help him.

Everyone makes mistakes, he has lost a leg.

Was anyone else injured or killed in the accident?

I didn't say we shouldn't help But since there is no news out there, Are there any other's that were involved that might be more deserving of help?

What do you mean there is no news out there? The link to the original article is 3 posts above your post. You could always have a read and then make your judgement/comments.

That link gives no information except "Nice guy, lost leg, Needs help." Nothing substantive about the accident. Oh wait I forgot to add "His parents flew into Thailand"

That article is just a dressed up go fund me page to get you to go to the Go fund me page.

Well, he lost a leg, and messed up internally and stuck in south east Asia.
I think he is up there.
You can’t really on our government so when one of our boys is in trouble we must help.

I was also wondering the same question. Bumrungrad Hospital has some of the best doctors and the facility is excellent. Returning to the UK for what? Socialized medical care and year long waits. Not only that, the nurses in the UK are fat and ugly.

Does Bumrungrad cost the same as the NHS?

Prick. Yes, I do know this will be deleted because, as usual, you will go scurrying off to the Mods because aside from being a very unpleasant individual, you are also a grass.

Prick, yeah that pepper, and very popular and spicy in Thailand. Must mean I am really good according to the country´s standards. That´s where we are, right? And, that´s what the forum is about.

After that, how do you know that I am an unpleasant individual? Do you know me? No, the only thing you do, is base that opinion on comments you read in an online forum. I guess you are a professional judging people based on that. Hilarious!

At last, I do not consider myself grass, but I do smoke it. Now you can try to Keepssss, your opinionsssss based on flawed information away from my direction. Thank you, Sir!

Probably because he was drunk......

I am not 100% sure but I recall that I have read that he was filming himself with he´s phone when he was driving he´s motorbike.  But again I might remember wrong. Actually I HOPE I remember wrong because that is really, really stupid.

No it wasn't, the only information is "He is a nice guy, and he lost his leg and he needs help" No where is there any information on the crash so unless you can post a link stop your lies

The original incident in which he crashed his bike, not this thread, was well-reported in the press and here in this forum.   That you won't look for it does not mean my comments are lies.

I did look for it and couldn't find a single story about it, I tried using Krabi and Andy Davis as search words and the only articles I could find were dated Nov20 or later and as I wrote in the post you quoted "No it wasn't, the only information is "He is a nice guy, and he lost his leg and he needs help""

And since you won't or can't post a link to any article that gives details of the actual crash, I stand by statement that your comments about the accident being reported in depth to be a lie.

Prove me wrong and I will most humbly apologize. Until then I will stand by what I said.

He probably just wants to be near to his family.

Plenty haters on here trying very very hard to find evidence that the lad was drunk.

Since the most quoted news articles at the time of the accident never mention alcohol , the usual forum misanthropes say he must have been drunk.

Anyway, he's back home and getting the best care the NHS can offer, due to the kindness of mostly strangers.
