Thai Police Crackdown on Pornographic Content Production

Thai authorities launched “Rabbit Slaughter: Suppressing Sex Creators,” targeting a global network producing and distributing pornographic content involving Thai women. Arrests included Thai nationals and foreigners from the UK, Russia, Germany, and Serbia, charged with commercial production and distribution of explicit material. Authorities allege the network exploited Thailand’s tourism image, filming in iconic locations like tuk-tuks. The crackdown uncovered child pornography, sparking further investigations into possible human trafficking. Arrests occurred in Bangkok, Chon Buri, and Suvarnabhumi, with suspects confessing during interrogations.
