Man Attacks Neighbor with Machete in Ang Thong Province

A 50-year-old man named Jerd attacked his neighbor, Nongnuch, with a machete in Ang Thong Province, injuring her legs and arms. The assault occurred on December 9 at Village 4 in Ongkharak. A passerby, Uncle Auan, intervened, fending off the attacker and escorting the injured woman to the hospital. Police subdued Jerd, who showed no signs of drug use during tests. Nongnuch has since been discharged and filed a complaint, ensuring legal action against her assailant. The incident is under police investigation.
