Naked Russian Man Rescued After Perilous Swim Between Pattaya and Koh Larn

A naked Russian tourist was rescued on December 8 after attempting to swim from Pattaya Beach to Koh Larn, a dangerous 6-kilometer journey. Spotted by speedboat driver Mr. Pracharat near the Hin Kong buoy channel, the man was exhausted, injured from seawater exposure, and adrift. He was given a life jacket, rehydrated, and transported to the Koh Larn District Office. Calm sea currents likely saved him from further danger. The tourist admitted he had started the swim the night before but was swept off course. The incident highlights the importance of safety and respecting nature’s risks.
