Do you not realize that Thaksin is grooming his grandchildren at the next level after his daughter?

Thanksin has to be careful if the elite start to see a better route with the PP he will end up like the Dem party

He’s been running everything since he came back TIT

He always stayed.  He has been running PT since he developed the party.  That is why many airlines made a lot of money from people travelling to get their decree.

I think he may be in trouble and trying to bail out a sinking ship.  The people know he is in charge. The ELlites know he is running things, but they are leaving him alone until he does something they must do.  Remember, the only other choice the elites have is to go to an election, and there is no guarantee that the PP will not get a majority with no Senate to mess things up anymore.

"The past few years"? You either have to be joking or are oblivious to Thaksin's "influence" since he fled the country.

Well sort of. But the fact is the elites hold the power. Elections do not matter. The royalist military elites control the eventual outcome of elections which is to maintain their wealth and power. They do this through their own legal apparatus AKA the CC and the EC.

Per the photo. Thai men seem to age so much worse than Thai women.

I think that's because they use less make up?

The challenge, though, is that they are losing that power. Before, the majority of the people trusted the military, and they had the Democratic party as well as others. They also could deal with things through the Senate and coups.

They lost all effective party control in the last election, and it looks no better.  Eventually, the PP is going to figure out all the election rules and the ins and outs, and then they will be in trouble.

Even the Great Thaksin needs help to get the PTP effective.  Right now he is at the mercy of the BJT and the people backing it.

Incredible recovery from being terminally ill only a few short months ago.
