Thai Woman Arrested in Japan for Smuggling Cocaine Worth 6 Million Baht

A 23-year-old Thai woman was arrested at Kansai International Airport in Osaka for attempting to smuggle 760 grams of cocaine, valued at 27 million yen (around 8 million baht), into Japan. Officials grew suspicious due to her minimal belongings and unusual stitching on her backpack, which concealed the drugs. The woman had traveled from Malaysia via China. Japanese authorities are investigating potential accomplices but have not disclosed whether the suspect admitted to the crime.
