Yes!  Most tattoos spawn from a underlying sense of worthlessness.  Many people feel that their tattoos give themselves worth but don't realize that self worth comes from the inside, and not from outer adornments. The same goes for nose, chin and boob jobs.

I bow to the extensive knowledge , and expertise, that you think you have.

FFS....can this forum have any more wannabe Freuds?

I hope he is suitably punished with jail time... something he is unlikely to get back in the UK, unless the attacks could be linked to being racial!

Yep a year in the Bangkok Hilton with some new friends would do nicely... then a life time ban in Thailand

Low-life twit - it’s hope they throw the book at him, but I always hope they throw the book at any thief whatever nationality, culture of social bracket they are from (unless extenuating circumstances as per  Jean Valjean sterling food etc through pure hunger).

As per the tatt comments.- there are some worrying Victorian attitudes on this forum.

Where are our favourite Brit bashers ?? - they ok ? posted recently ? - they’d usually be all over this like a cheap dress on a floozy…

Another fool thinking this is the Thailand from many years ago.  Face scans, fingerprints, (Biometric) data at airport, CCTV cameras everywhere, and pretty impressive CCIB, Immigration vehicles with scanners.

Tomorrow there will be another criminal who thinks he's smarter than everyone who gets arrested.

Not really, just a tatooed idiot tourist without money,

"...a tatooed idiot tourist..."

The irony of a man who can't even spell "tattooed" referring to someone else as an idiot!

They can arrest foreigners quicker than Thai ladyboys or criminals...

Really?  What do you base that on?   LBs and Thai offenders are frequently arrested.

As my earlier post, a spell in a jail would be appropriate first.

Yeah, say 4 years R +R at the Bankok Hilton first and then deportation would do him.

Enjoy your Christmas season with the BKK patrons in the BKK Hilton baby!

Much more likely to be in the Pattaya "Hilton".

ame applies in the US. This applies most especially to white folks. People of color are locked up, if they don't have good counsel.

As are white criminals.  The percentages of white vs black prisoners in the US are practically identical, 31% and 32%, respectively.

Ummmmm,  because most of the criminals are foreigners? But, what did you do, time them and collect statistics for a year, you know, collect actual facts behind what you say, or did that just come spilling out of your head like a bucket of waste water?

Well said, but "bucket of shi te" would have been more appropriate.

Note the use of the gun by the copper on the left.

They really are a bunch of cowards at heart.

You think that they knew whether or not he had a weapon in his bag or whether he was reaching for it?

Quite, it does seem that way, I wonder why?

How many times have we seen ladyboys steal neck chains from Indians, reported here on AN,

i have lost count, do they get 5 years in prison, I wonder?

Why do you say that?  There have been many reports here of LBs and Thai being arrested for snatching jewellery.

31 and snatching chains?  A complete, abject failure in life.  Deported, hopefully sooner than later.

. Maybe he thought he could do it better than Ladyboys

Most criminals in Thailand are foreigners? Gie yer head a shake, even you can't be that stupid.

He wasn't stating that to be the case, he was asking a question, see the question mark?  Even you can't be tha... never mind.

This guy will probably have outstanding warrants in the UK. Hence the reason to try and delay his return home.

I didn't see the part that reported that he was trying to delay his return to the UK.  Where did you read it?

Proper police work in that situation does not require a un-holstered firearm.

The suspect is obviously unarmed and clearly compliant.

Those police officers do not have their weapons holstered on display, they are concealed in that bum bag.  Had he threatened the officers?  Could there not have been a firearm or other weapon in his bag at the time?   He was not yet restrained in the photo so how do you know that he had been compliant?

Figures, proof please

"...because most of the criminals are foreigners?"

Did he say that was a fact or was he, perhaps, asking a question? See the "?"?

Why would there be a need to approach with a drawn gun, from behind, to a man who is on his kness, clearly surrendering ? Seems excessive and maybe that cop has an itch he wants to scratch as clearly the guy was no threat to him or anyone else.

Maybe he had been threatening and, prior to that photo, had not been surrendering?   What did he have in his bag?

Yes you are right, very observant.  So the answer to his question is NO?
