my MAGA friends were complaining about how Harris ran for POTUS, despite 'not being elected' by the DEM party. now the shoe is on the other foot - MAGA's are now defending Musk's appointments as, essentially, the Budget Director. he certainly has not been elected

What a shame you couldn't be bothered to read the article.

This is about his parasite UK relatives who are disappointed they can't cash in on Musk's success.

And what has that to do with my opinion on the parasite relatives from your previous story?

BTW, weren't you the person who not so long ago said you couldn't care less about US politics, and requested to have this sub forum closed?

Well you have been very active though, always slagging off the same people, never about the senile old guy.

We already know you're not the sharpest knife in the drawer, so maybe better give it a rest, because you only make it more obvious with every new thread.

Typical Trumpster deflection

Only rich people think socialism is silly. The rest of us, which is most of us, like a spot of socialism as long as it's not the dictator style socialist.

Will a dictator style bigot grifter work?

If so, you've gotten your fondest wish, which will soon turn into your scariest wet dream.

This is the SCANDAL... (see X link below).

MAGA Team including Elon can bring critical path solutions to problems created by democrats and their corrupt government. Haters want Trump and his team to fail in their voter mandated mission (which includes DOGE Elon/Vivek) it seems, rather than solve financial problems, ie., reckless spending and other Biden fiscal mismanagement like student loan forgiveness (~$180B) and reestablish the America that Biden's shadow government destroyed.

I'm not American, so shouldn't affect me too much. I'm looking forward to the entertainment though, got the popcorn already.

Errrrr. The appointments are not usually voted for by the public at large, just the senate. No one voted for Kelly or Bolton.

That isn't the same as POTUS.

what you write is true, historically. but these are starting to look like different times. I know the big T is misquoted about his ''dictator for a day'' remark (which he threw out there for the MAGA fans to lap up). lots of chatter out there, about Musk's appointment. there is no doubt that the big T. wants to push through appointment of all of his nominees, regardless of the Senate approval process.  and he has already said that the process of the constitutional separation of powers, could be evaded, by trying to do a blanket bypass of Senate's core advice-and-consent authority. all for the sake of his definition of efficiency. maybe he's right?  or maybe the saying Where's there smoke' comes to mind.

Success breeds success....everyone SMELLS success with Trump and his team wants to get involved now and contribute to Trump and his DOGE AND cabinet team, If anyone reading this wants to join the "I love Trump friends club" you can make a donation and join with the people who love America and want to restore it from Biden's chaotic wrecking ball admin style. Elon Musk is a game-changer in taking success to the nth degree as you all know BUT seem to hate for some odd reason. If you hate Trump and his team more than you like success for the country, then you are going to hate your life for the next 4 years. Get on board, be part of Trumps MAGA-America First voter mandated revolution & drive for SUCCESS.

A good investment in America, it's people and democracy and all things good for America (now do Biden) and Musk is not a stupid or careless investor otherwise he wouldn't be well on his way to becoming the worlds first trllionaire. He spent about $250M on Trumps campaign, I believe Meta Zuckerberg spent considerably more at $400M buying Bidens presidency and look at the mess Biden made...LOL.

With Trump and Musk democracy can be maintained, preserved, enforced, protected, etc,. just look at how Musk's massive $44B purchase of twitter exposed government censorship and the undenying positive effect on free speech and democracy. Whatever Musk does always works for the betterment of humanity. Just take a moment and review his charity and philanthropic endeavors. Elon Musk is engineered for success and achievement and will make Trump's admin very successful with efficiency measures with DOGE. Perfect symphony... detested only by the pathetic haters on the left, but not John Fetterman it seems.

He can't do that without a constitutional amendment, IMO. He does spout a lot of dribble, and it's sad to see so many getting alarmed by the stuff he wobbles on about.

End of the day, he still has to get congress to agree to the big changes. If they agree to it that's on them.
