This dash can was already fitted in the car. It is the type where the forwad camera is built into the review mirror. This is the same type I use in the UK but a Nextbase. The UK has a seperate video screen I assume to comply with UK law. When I took over the car the set up was half the rear view mirror was the rear view and the other half was the forward view. The power was interrupted to the cigarette lighter connector. Now the dash cam only shows the forward view in the mirror. Not a lot of use for that. I can find the settings control but they are all in Thai. I found Gadonx user manuals in English online but not for the mirror version on a camera.
Does anybody have this type of dash cam of can point to an installer who can reset it for me? I am staying in Rangsit.
Well I give him 5 stars for trying but as we all know the kids copy their parents, and most of them do not wear helmets. Buddha will protect them anyway.
I just walked down Jomtien soi 7 today and counted bikes with helmets, 80% were not wearing one and that includes foreigners .
Maybe he can save a life or two, who knows, but in the end it comes down to laws and regulations. And money since certified helmets are expensive.
The crime reporters will only print stories that the police have given them approval to print.
The police generally don't provide updates. (It might lead to criticism! You can't please all parties!)
Thus we very rarely get updates.
