I am not surprised this has happened, especially to a Russian.

 

I witness on a daily basis the horrendous way they behave - like wild pack of hyenas and that's just the kids!!!

 

I'm not excusing the security thugs actions if indeed excessive force was used, as they are well known for their ruthless behavior all across Thailand.

 

It was just only a matter of time before one of them got their head kicked in, and well, here we are... Next time Ruskie, just sit down, drink your drink quietly and try to crack a smile while your at it!

This thai sport came about several years ago. Yes the Russian was drunk, but the scum thais all 3 of them were not drunk.  Unless you jail them and they pay the Russians hospital they will do it again and again. Thais only do this if there's 3 to 5 of them. Jail them 3 years for grevious bodily harm.

i agree it doesnt matter where he from!  but obviously he brought it on himself!    for what ever reason they wanted him to leave but he wasnt going with a please and thank you.  so please explain if it was your business what would you do?   you have staff to protect others in the bar (wnd the bar) and thats what it appears they did, excessive end result maybe but he was the one fighting   and 100% on him    he will prob get off and able to stay, sadly

I remember over 20yrs ago on Walking St Pattaya, sat at a bar complex opposite Tony's Gym. A Thai came running past in the road followed by around 6 "security ' guys, one first smashed a bottle on his head then the rest kicked the <deleted> out of him, one actually grabbed a pool cue and used it on his unconscious body. They then casually walked away, police turned up about 30 min later, they're not actually fussy who they assault,  Thai or foreigner.
