Lazada - If it looks too good to be true ...

There is a way to get your wallet contents (even if you "don't have a wallet") into your bank, but it's slow and long winded, how to do it is explained in the email you get confirming your refund. It's one of the disadvantages of using COD.

Paying by credit card means you get refunds to the card, it's also not exactly quick but it does work.

I always click on the 'send to bank account' button to get money out of my Lazada wallet, about 30s for it to appear in my bank. I don't really understand why other people seem to have a problem.

You really cannot blame the suppliers who sell through Lazada for your being scammed.

You reward these suppliers for their behavior....obviously....by continuing to buy from Lazada.

If we wish to stamp out this bad behavior, in ONE FELL SWOOP, or one Full Sweep, then we know what to do:

EN MASSE, we need to stop buying...immediately.

Then, within about three months.....all this bad behavior will cease to be rewarded....and then....

Scamming will come to a halt, lickety-split.

There is no other way.

En Masse, just stop buying and rewarding bad behavior....for one-half year.

All the bad actors will quickly fall by the wayside.

Then, we can RESET....

And the consumer world will be a better place.

There is really no other way.

Lazada, and the suppliers, will not police themselves...obviously.

This is the only solution.

I have stopped buying.

Anytime I need something, then I will buy from Amazon.

Amazon, at least up til now, has been willing to make bad purchased good, with very little discussion.

Mostly, though, I have never had to dispute anything with Amazon.

Just do not buy from Lazada....

This is the simplest solution.....

This is a new age in which uninformed and uneducated consumers have access to online buying...just to give themselves a HIT, a buying-related HIGH, presumably because they are addicted to the Gambling Rush that it provides....

And, here in Asia, especially Thailand, gamblers are legion.....

Now, hear this!!!!:

In the past eBay usually sided with the seller.  After many customer complaints and falling sales, they reversed their policy and adopted many safeguards for buyers, like mandatory tracking.

I have bought a number of refurbished Lenovo Thinkpads through eBay and have never been taken.  eBay has a Resolution Center that actually works. I only buy from sellers who pay for return shipping for defective or "not as described" items.

Well he wished you a happy life and sent you a necklace of Buddha you can wear after your conversion. Those Chinese can be so spiritual and thoughtful, whoever said they were inscrutable.

you're right about the need for collective consumer action.

As I think I recall saying somewhere.

If you reward a rat to do this, then the rat will do this.

If you reward a rat to do that, then the rat will do that.

I spent much time studying rats.

This is how I know about retailers and also those that profit from bloodsucking subscriptions.

Just do not reward bad behavior.

Simple, really.

I have never had a problem with Lazada sellers. I wouldn't buy a laptop or printer from China via Laada though because I don't trust the quality of Chinese goods or the integrity of China-based suppliers.

Yes, the scams keep coming, sadly.

I always use my credit card for the more expensive purchases.

A few times now I've been sent the wrong item etc., I pop into my kasikorn branch, the girl behind service desk helps me fill out the forms, I have a chat to kasikorn official over the phone and a few weeks later my card has been credited the full amount.

It works for me even without visiting Kasikorn.

You must visit your bank if you have been scammed.

No, I do it by phone, most however online.

But it could be that the Bank like to see you in person. I don't now the reason.
