Trouble filling in Irish embassy affirmation of marriage questionnaire on line

Featured Replies

Hi all, I hope someone can help me out, im trying to fill out the questionnaire for my affirmation of marriage form on the Irish embassy in Bangkok website, the problem im getting is that after filling in a box like forenames then surname I come to a date of birth box ( or any box that requires numerals rather than text) once I fill that box in and move onto another box I can’t fill that box in because the box containing say my date of birth remains highlited as though it’s still waiting for a date of birth to be entered, anyone got an idea what’s going on?
im filling the form in, or at least trying to, using an Apple iPad do I need to use an android device instead of an Apple device?
Grateful for any help gents

a pop-up with a number of points appears. One of the points concerns Thailand

"Getting married in Thailand

Please note that if you getting married in Thailand, you should make direct contact with the Irish Embassy in Thailand or the Honorary Consulate in Phuket.

Contact details for the Embassy in Thailand and the Consulate in Phuket can be found here https://www.dfa.ie/embassies/irish-embassies-abroad/asia-and-oceania/thailand/"

Is this relevant in your case ?

( Looks like it was addded in 2022...........so might be changed since :( )

FWIW I'd try to establish voice contact with someone in either The Embassy or Consulate
