Your right Stevenl--he is in a much weaker position then most on here seem to think---but no one wants another 18 year Afghanistan stand off--- but when you try to discuss it , for some people it comes down to the Trump thing--- it seems they just can not reason properly-- the thought of that he might find a solution that is acceptable to both , it's just a pill to bitter  to swallow.   Their guy gave the whole country away---surrendered not only Billions in the latest weaponry--but the lives of people who believed  that America would help them out--if it all went west.

 

Against that will it be so hard to get a better agreement then ice cream Joe managed.

If you search articles from 2018 and before you will find many reports on how corrupt Ukrane was....all changed since the conflict, now its the poor Ukriane and Zelensky is the sceomd coming.
