You can save Ukrainian POWs!
I would love to give, or not. But I gave all my extra money to the "Go Fund Me", for Russian soldier that had a motorcycle and medical oops here. He was anxious to get back to the front lines, and I couldn't think of a better use for my extra cash. Doesn't Zelensky have a few billion stashed from all the countries sending aid money. Surely he could pitch in a few rubles -

This one is for the Russian apologists.
When a Western media outlet hides some very important information from its listeners, people most often think that the hidden information is harmful to Western listeners because it makes them more pro-Russian. However, there is another reason. It is that the information space is united and what is said in the West immediately becomes known in Russia and can be used by Vladimir Putin's supporters to increase Putin's support inside Russia. It is for this reason that the video only shows people who have no idea how to win in the war and who say obvious nonsense about killing everyone in NATO. With a 6 to 1 ratio of forces, such a strategy obviously guarantees defeat. There are other people in Moscow. These are pro-Putin street activists who drive around Moscow every day in cars with dummy nuclear missiles labeled "To Washington". There are many of them and the number of their supporters is gradually growing. You will not hear about them in the Western media, but you can easily find out about them on YouTube. -

American on Dirt Bike Kills Thai Woman Crossing Road in Chiang Mai
One seems to show the American with an Asian woman. They are both dressed up to look like they are IDK..... Mountain people with green suits and boots. Freaky looking. But, his friends might actually be his GF. Is she Thai.... That is my question. -

Advice about pregnancy and birth costs in Thailand please!
If you girlfriend use a public hospital, then it's free when being a Thai citizen. Some medicine might be extra at a low price. You can a most places rent a VIP-room for an extra fee. It's a private en-suite room, often with space where a relative can stay. There might be more than one VIP-level. It will cost from around 1,000 baht per day for the cheapest level and up to a around 5,000 baht per day; the latter is for the most expensive where I stay. If your girlfriend pays social security at her work, she might have a registered hospital. She will also be eligible for some pregnancy-care. You can read more in the English language leaflet HERE (pdf). [Edit: Seems like ASEAN NOW won't accept the link, so I give it here without ht...:// prefix and with spaces to be removed: ohrm. au. edu/ images/ service/ WelfareBenefits/ SSO_English. pdf ] When my girlfriend was pregnant we used a private clinic for monthly check-ups, it was quite affordable. If you opt for a private hospital, childbirth can be quite expensive. -

American on Dirt Bike Kills Thai Woman Crossing Road in Chiang Mai
I see some awful behaviour from Thais on the roads this statement needs amending, if you'd been here longer, and/or didn't have a one eyed view, you'd know the awful behaviour on thai roads is absolutely not restricted only to thais, i see plenty of westerners behaving appallingly on the roads here, endangering themselves and others. -

Is this true: "Bangkok is garbage now a great place for naive clueless tourists and overpay"
I'll risk it and take you seriously. Bangkok is a great city. It is quite modern, has good commo technology, great healthcare, and a wide range of restaurants covering every taste, from Thai to Japanese to Italian to Chinese to Indian to French to burgers and wings. Grocery stores carry lots of Western staples, if one wishes to eat those foods, you can find most any clothing or electronic item you might want (except if you have large and narrow feet, like my 12 B, best your bring shoes from home). If one is an exercise fanatic, good gyms are everywhere and inexpensive. Transportation is convenient (BTS Skytrain and MRT underground), and even if taxi drivers try to cheat you, rides are still cheap. Nightlife is whatever you want it to be, from nightclubs to bars to the things for which Thailand has a reputation. For a Westerner, especially one who hasn't traveled much, the city can be somewhat exotic. It's also safer than most major Western cities, almost on par with Tokyo. Suvarnabhumi Airport is a major hub and one can catch a flight to almost anywhere from there. The downsides are that it is crowded and the air is not the best, especially during the field burning season. Also, there are really only two seasons: really hot, and rainy & really hot. One gets used to the heat, but it can take time. The bureaucracy can be frustrating, too, but a little patience and a polite manner get one through that. I've lived in many countries, and I find Thailand and Bangkok to be a place where one can easily and quickly adapt......and enjoy. What I like is that each little neighborhood in Bangkok becomes like a village: everybody knows everybody and gets along really well, both Thais and expats.
