Sounds like hes saying he will kill Irans leaders if they don't release the hostages

So targeted killings of those thought to be responsible......but not the footsoldiers, the guys at the top!!!.....cheers.

Hard to imagine they have the intel on lowly foot soldiers.......even if they knew their 'names'......how would they ever track them?

   Israel knows who they are and where they are .

Israel knew who their Hezbollah brothers were in the North , knew who they were and where they were , even managed to give them all a pager each

Isn't Israel already willing and able to get them, irrespective of whatever Trump may say?

They didn't need him to eliminate Hamas and Hezbollah leaders (and others members).

Did Biden ask Israel not to kill Hamas and Hezbollah members, or just to avoid killing other Palestinians?

There’s the dual problem of, is he going to deliver on anything he promises and, in the off chance he does, will the outcome be what is expected?

Given that IMO Trump doesn't understand anyone "foreign" I think he thought that just his words would be enough to scare Hamas. I doubt he actually has any thoughts beyond that.

I'm under no illusions as to Trump's intellect ( I just like his policies ), so I doubt he actually has a clue about how to deal with the M E. Does not bode well for the future.

 

That is not to say that I think Harris would have done any better. IMO she would have been worse ( in everything ).

Palestinians were there long before israel was created in 1947, and Gaza was never included in the israeli part of the UN partition of Palestine.

Odd how you were incited by my comment, but the comment I was replying tot made the original assertion that Palestinians aren't originally from Israel excited no ire on your part. Why is that?

If you read between the lines Trump is more than happy for Israel to reduce Gaza from broken concrete to just plain old dust, which means more support in arms and money.

Israeli diplomatic officials said on Monday evening that Israel was in the “advanced stages of the negotiations” with Hamas for a ceasefire deal that would see the terror group release some of the hostages it has been holding in Gaza since October 7, 2023, and ending more than 15 months of war.

Briefing military and diplomatic reporters, the officials said there had been progress in the talks in Doha, which are being coordinated by mediator countries Qatar and Egypt and the outgoing and incoming US administrations, but stressed that “the deal is not finalized.”
