Vet with experience in treating rabbits.

Featured Replies

All the vets on the island quite understandably seem to mainly treat cats and dogs. But does anyone know if any of them have experience in treating rabbits?

I took our's to two vets a couple of years ago and both refused to spay? / sterilise her. Now she looks like she is under the weather. Rather than just take her to anyone, I would prefer to take her to one with experience of treating rabbits and their particular problems if possible.

If there are any Samui rabbit owners here on AN, which vet do you use?  🐇

TIA

If this is not one of the two vets you have visited, you should try to give them a call and ask...

KhunPer. Thank you, but it is one of the ones that I visited.

Sorry, I have no idea re rabbits but....

One cafe in Fisherman's has capybaras.  Maybe ask them if they have had to use a vet here?

Not the same I know, but a lot less common in Thailand than rabbits.

There is another one at Big Buddha apparently

Oops - the link may be the Big Buddha one.

Did you also try the vet next to Foxtrot at Bangrak?

Tried the one by Foxtrot a while ago. They weren't interested. I think they are more of a grooming salon. But thanks. I will try the Capybara place in Big Buddha.
