A serious firework mishap on Jomtien Beach, Pattaya, has prompted urgent legal action by city officials. The incident occurred during New Year’s Eve celebrations, when a firework, illegally set off by tourists, injured a seven-year-old girl from Bangkok. The child, who attended the event with her family, sustained burns to her abdomen and required immediate hospital treatment before returning to Bangkok.
