At approximately 12:00 on January 2, the “Samorkan Dan Chang” radio centre received a report of a severe collision involving a private car and a 10-wheel truck. The crash occurred near Ban Rung Arun, Moo 8, in Taph Luang subdistrict, Ban Rai district, Uthai Thani province, near the border with Dan Chang district in Suphan Buri province. Emergency responders from the Samorkan Rescue Foundation in Dan Chang district, Suphan Buri, were dispatched to the scene, equipped with hydraulic cutting tools. Upon arrival, rescue workers found four people trapped in the wreckage, including two men and two women, all critically injured. Emergency personnel used cutting tools to extricate the victims from the vehicles and provided first aid at the scene. Three of the injured were transported to Dan Chang Hospital, while the fourth was sent to Ban Rai Hospital in Uthai Thani for further medical attention. Unfortunately, doctors later confirmed that three of the victims succumbed to their injuries. The fourth victim remains in critical condition, in ICU. Pol Sub Lt.
