Walker88 Posted January 5 Posted January 5 No wife, but when I told my Thai GF my bison back home on the Colorado ranch was sick, she ponied up for the vet. Heck, she even paid for the Jet-A in my Gulfstream and covered the FBO fees at Don Mueang, so I could fly back and tend to Bessie the Bison. You just can't buy that kind of heartfelt care. Bob, I think you understand. 1 1

Lies and inflates the truth, makes up everything as he goes, poor at covering his tracks, comes up with insulting names for many other posters, praises posters who admire him, and attacks any who don't. Total Trumpian narcissistic behavioral disorder. Is there anything else about this BarBoy poster that I am not aware of? Give him a bit of slack. That's his life, he has nothing else to do. Plus he is entertaining from time to time.

I didn't actually get banned, but I made a farewell post on September 3 announcing to everyone on AN that I was off to Spain because, to be honest, I felt that everyone was getting fed up with my fictitious, windup posts. Of course I didn't really go anywhere, but the local pub of course, and I went on the piss for a couple of momentous days. Tranny patrol in Soi 6 if I'm to be completely honest. It was great. Two solid days of nothing but sausage. And I mean solid. Then I reappeared September 5 on AN, barely two days later, and with a new user account and a completely different user name and online identity. It didn't work though, everyone on AN knew instantly that it was me. Thus, any tips from a pro AN user like yourself on how I might be more successful in covering my steps if I try that stunt again in the future bob, I mean Colin? 1 1
Patong2021 Posted January 5 Posted January 5 Well, we were watching the football match this evening. My friends brought their own beer. Does that count? It is a rather gloomy time right now with those 2 Vietnamese goals, so I am offering water in lieu of more alcohol.

Popular Post ChumpChange Posted January 5 Popular Post Posted January 5 5 hours ago, mokwit said: I imagine with a wife like that you must have been pulled to the very bosom of the village. People sitting at the restaurant call you over and before you know it food and drink have been ordered and everyone is having such a good time that your wife feels she really should pick up the tab. Oh, you’ve absolutely nailed it there, mate. It’s like I’ve become the village’s favorite adopted farangy son practically overnight. I can’t even walk past one of the big restaurants without someone calling me over. Before I know it, plates are piling up, drinks are flowing, beers everywhere, and the whole place is buzzing. Everyone’s having the time of their lives, knowing they can order up anything and everything without a second thought and because, of course, it’ll all be covered. My gracious wife literally wouldn’t dream of letting anyone else kick in even one Baht on the tab, that would be insulting and unthinkable. She just flashes that shiny BBL Platinum Visa of hers and then reminds me it’s all part of being a good neighbor. Who am I to argue when it's all her own money anyway, right? I’m just another welcome bloke along for the ride, basking in the endless food, drink, and good cheer. I even remember when our son was born, and all the villagers so kindly helped us nickname him “Bank" - appropriately so, given his mother’s endless generosity. It’s honestly fitting, isn’t it? To be fair, though, it’s absolutely exhausting being around a wife this popular. Everywhere we go, she’s showered with admiration, and somehow, I’m expected to keep up with it all. But hey, I do my best to manage, someone’s got to! 1 3
jerrymahoney Posted January 6 Posted January 6 As per topic "Does your Thai wife or girlfriend ever foot the bill?" No.

She always takes care of the bill and would find it very offensive if I ever offered to pay. She's been a bit grumpy of late but we have now kissed and made up, and she's taking me for a slap up meal later tonight at one of the most expensive joints in town.. She dresses me in the all finest clobber, my wardrobe is full of swanky shirts and snazzy jeans - she's definitely a keeper. We have our ups and downs and to be honest the downs usually stem from when I offer to pay for something out of my own pocket. She gets really annoyed and always asks 'why you want to pay? you already know I have money...' before slamming her platinum credit card down on the cashiers desk.. Is it the same for you lot? You know the saying , happy wife, happy life, why rock the boat, boy toy…

Thingamabob Posted January 6 Posted January 6 17 hours ago, ChumpChange said: bob, it is 100% exactly the same for me. How did you know? In fact, my Thai wife also buys all the beer in the house and restocks the fridge daily. Last month she bought us a new car. She bought and paid for the house we are living in 3 years ago and had a pool installed last year. But wait, there’s more! She covers all the utilities, pays for my gym membership (even though I hardly go), and insists on booking us first-class flights for every holiday. In the last years we've gone to Switzerland, Dubai, Rome, and to Los Angeles twice. All on her dime. She plans and pays for these luxury getaways at least four times a year – she says it’s “necessary for my well-being.” She also replaced all my old gadgets last Christmas with the latest tech – a new iPhone, MacBook Pro laptop, top of the line Canon mirrorless camera with six interchangeable lenses, and even a massive DJI drone, which I didn’t even ask for. Oh, and she insists on paying for a cleaner, a gardener, and a dog walker for the puppy she surprised me with on my birthday. And when it comes to clothes, I barely have a say anymore. Every week she brings home more designer outfits for me, saying she “couldn’t resist.” Honestly, bob, it’s exhausting having such a generous and selfless wife, but someone has to put up with it. I wasn't even gonna mention this part, but twice a week we go out and hit all the bars together. She pays the bar fine for me after I pick out my two favorite girls of the night and then we bring them back to our place for some fun. She even chests and washes all the bedding herself as soon as we are done. Life has never been better after marrying a Thai woman. I'm so glad to hear I'm not the only one! Chest the bedding ? How does that work ?

jerrymahoney Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Some of the frequent topic starters in the Pub Forum make me think of the famous line the Author Mary McCarthy said of the playwright Lillian Hellman: “Every word she writes is a lie—including ‘and’ and ‘the.’ ”

Often the common perception among Thai women with foreign men: They(foreign husband/de facto) are here to serve their wallet/ATM. Especially when they have bargirl/sex trade backgrounds. Some exception; I have seen a self-claimed poor foreign artist who has been dependent on his wife's farming family(not affluent) while visa-running(before Non-Immigrant O acquisition).
jwest10 Posted January 6 Posted January 6 16 hours ago, Ralf001 said: Yeah both foot the bill, we take turns. Well, considering many do not work but at least the Son- in - law in the main pays for the high school and university fees and often in the past chipped in as the 20K maximum at the ATM. As regarding meals out and noticed recently and yes we are driven to some wonderful restaurants but around the Christmas and New Yeah it seems that recently picked up the tab a lot of the times. However, tbf they do contribute and do buy food for the 2 Granddaughters and us and yes including fruit. My wife's Daughter-in-law's family are quite wealthy and have been given a lot of land but stating this they are living in very nice accommodation and yes who of course who originally bought and living in free of charge and there is obviously no rent to pay. There are definitely swings and roundabouts but I am not moaning at all and we know we can not say too much as the families do not listen and to the Authorites we are Aliens

Most of the girls are plumpers and grannies these days. The younger girls earn their money online. I reckon the girly bar industry will be dead here in 10/15 years time. Hope the girls have saved up enough dosh after years of rinsing farang losers down the pub but I doubt it...
black tabby12345 Posted January 6 Posted January 6 6 minutes ago, BarBoy said: Hope the girls have saved up enough.. but I doubt it... They are often in that trade to support their family members back home. So must be difficult for them to save up enough for themselves unless their ties with the parents and younger siblings are severed. Sending big percentage of their earning to their home is quite common among other migrant workers of straight jobs as well. That financial burden is often imposed on their eldest sister among the family, I hear.
