Bangkok Struggles with Hazardous Air Quality from PM2.5 Pollution

Bangkok and 66 Thai provinces are grappling with hazardous air quality as PM2.5 levels surged to unsafe highs on Monday. Sing Buri recorded the worst pollution at 85.6µg/m³, far exceeding the government’s safe limit of 37.5µg/m³. In Bangkok, all 50 districts reported unsafe levels, with Bangkok Yai reaching a staggering 102.3µg/m³. Authorities are under pressure to address the worsening air pollution, emphasizing the need for sustainable measures to safeguard public health.
