so you already blaming Trump's "potential" failures on someone else.   gotta love US politics!  and the idiots that support them

I'm not "blaming" anyone. But if you don't understand US politics, it's not my fault.  It's broken.  It's been broken for a long time, and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to make the observation.  Nothing much gets done in DC, given all the political animosity, and I'm afraid Trump probably won't fare much better.  His promises are well intentioned, but extreme to some.  And the Republicans have only a slim margin of control.  Throw in a few trouble makers in the Senate or in the House and the result is gridlock.  Anyway, we'll see.  There are some things Trump CAN do.  And those things will happen, starting on day one.

What has the current President done?

Newsom has the buck.  He’s failed.

So if Trump says it then it must be true? You need to have a mind of your own and throw in some common sense while you're at it

The wildfires are raging in Southern California, more than 2,000 homes have been destroyed, 10 people have died and the fires continue to rage on, and what do we get from the man who will be leading our nation in two weeks? Criticism of the governor and an absolute desire to make this political.

He's only using the philosophy used by Rahm Emanuel who said, "You never want a serious crisis to go to waste." (originally used by Winston Churchill)
I'll not deny that they were used in a slightly different context, as in; “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. And what I mean by that is an opportunity to do things that you think you could not do before.”  In this case like getting rid of a terrible Governor in California.

No doubt, President Trump is a little more crass with his statement, but the Governor and the California policies need to change. Trump is trying to hammer in the nail of real corrective action.

Trust me, I am very sad for the people who lost their homes and the devastation that has without doubt impacted the wild life, pets and people in the disastrous fires.  I hope they get more than $750 to help them out. Luckily, the Trump signs will have burned away and the insurance adjustors and disaster relief agencies won't be able to discriminate.

By now his supporters probably don't expect facts or logic. He rambles and they like it. It's like a religion.

I like that he rambles- it makes him more like the rest of us, instead of some smooth talking lying swamp creature that reads other people's words off a teleprompter.

At least with Trump, we know it's him talking without his wife's arm up his backside moving his lips.

Thank you for posting something that was more than a hateful rant. Ranting threads like this make me certain that western civilization is doomed.

If you think he is like you, then obviously I should not be surprised that you support him.

He is definitely not like me and my friends. And if I would know anybody like him in person, I would avoid such ahole.

He married a foreign woman half his age.

You live with a foreign woman half your age.

How much more in common can you get?

Well let me see if I can draw a few distinctions. I've been a business man my entire life. I've always been very fair not only to my employees but to all the contractors that I've worked with, and my customers. I've always honored my contracts and never tried to sue a contractor to gain his cash and in the process cripple his company, so that's one quite distinct contrast right there. Perhaps that's the reason why I'm not a billionaire but I'd rather be in my position having been honest than in his position having stolen billions from trusting and unsuspecting souls.

I've also never created a fake University, handed out fake degrees and collected tens of thousands of dollars from unsuspecting students being duped by a fake school .

In addition I've never bankrupted any companies, much less to the tune of several billion dollars.

I could go on but that's probably enough for now.

So, all men who married a foreign woman half their age are all the same?

That's interesting news. Maybe you should write a book about that or teach your knowledge at some university.

And for the record: 2 x her age was more than my age when we got together. 😉
