   Wouldnt you prefer it if anything untoward happened was hushed up and not investigated and brushed under the carpet .

   You would much prefer it if no one mentioned there may be  a serial killer on the loose on the Island of Koh Tao , who murders at will  .

   Think of the harm that that would do to tourism

You claim that more tourists are going to Koh Tao after reading about this story , yet the seas are too rough for boats to get to Kao Tao .

   If the seas aren't too rough, then why hasn't his body been sent to Suratthani ?

Ther is probably no insurance company that will cover free diving.  If they do the rates would be huge.  These guys come here as a friend has told me because it is so great diving in Thailand.

I don't mean this week, I mean in general.

 

I am basing that claim on the fact the whlole island demographic has changed, its no longer 18-30s diving island, many older tourist and families with kids, remote workers. All sorts.

key word probably  I have no idea but if an insurance company can wiggle out they will use it.  Again there is an assumption that he had or did not have.

   There have been about 14 mysterious unexplained deaths on Koh Tao and they keep happening  .

   That cannot be denied .

Some of the local people responsible for some of the deaths are still on the Island and roaming free and seemingly being able to kill at will with no prosecution and the authorities covering it up for them .

   Enough said though , time to get back on topic

There have not been 14 mysterious unexplained deaths at all, what there has been is a concerted effort by 2 main people to trash the Island via social media and UK press with false,  misleading and in some cases, totally fabricated stories regarding unfortunate deaths of tourists and locals over the years.

Your comments show your lack of knowledge about the island and the deaths you refer to.

If I remember correctly, they died from exposure to a toxic pesticide used in their room.
 

Honestly, it could be anything. One of my close friends tragically died on Koh Phangan during the Full Moon Party in 2015. It made headlines everywhere. She was stung by a box jellyfish just seconds after entering the water, and her heart stopped within 20 seconds.
 

Who knows? Maybe he had cardiomyopathy and didn’t know it. Some people are born with heart defects and are completely unaware. It could literally be anything.
