I am wondering if someone has experienced something similar. I went to the Facino near second road/Walking St and asked for the Sidegra. The lady asked if I was a member and i said no. In response, she went to speak with someone on the back and then came out and half-heartedly pretended to look for it and then said we are out of stock. I know the drawer where they are kept because i was there the previous day and I could see that they had a lot in stock. She didn't even open the drawer. They were very willing to sell it to me the previous day and did not ask if i was a "member".
Has this happened to anyone? Being asked if you are a member and then just refusing to sell it to you (if not)?
What is the deal?
I think I'm going to file it all under 1 (1) as pension. (It's the UK State Pension. Dividends are from a tax free jurisdiction.) They are all paid outside of Thailand. So not all of it is used, and it only comes in through remittances, (as ATM, DC, FPS or CC). Dividends are not paid into Thailand.
I don't know about your embassy, but mine has informed me by email about this on 31 October 2023, and an update on 19 March 2024.
Are you registered as living in Thailand at your embassy?
