You need to get out more, plenty of Asians and Arabs go to these events and indulge just the same as everyone else.

There were piles of powders and pills being passed around on the weekend.

I do go out enough, but thank you for your suggestion.

Simply strange for me that only two people died at that event.

And no Asians, and no Americans de Souche, and no Canadians de Souche.

I do not know where you come from, but in my country, Vietnamese and Arabs, whether we like them or not, are not the typical kind to take hard drugs.

But at least my post allowed you to throw a bit more vitriol. You are welcome....

Is it possible drugs were involved?

Expand

Of course it´s possible. Even highly likely. First bet is on bad drugs, and that they will be able to find out. Second bet is a little bit harder, and I don´t think they have the ability or knowledge to examine. For some sensitive people, the combination of high volume and a specific beat, will interfere with the heart rythm, and can in rare cases lead to death. However, rare, and thta two should drop dead in one festival sounds far fetched. So, betting on drugs in some form.

Phuket was involved given that Phuket and Pattaya are involved in most of the deaths of foreigners

In what way did you just quote the post you replied to?

I'm going to hazard a guess and suggest that it's something to do with the alcohol in the drinks

How easy would it be to taint the entire tourist industry for someone or some group with a grudge?

Expand

So, if some group would have done that, don´t you think there would be more than 2 victims???

wow what a revelation - can you expand on that, how many young foreign adults died  suddenly at a music festival in phuket on the same night within hours of each other, yes people die in Thailand, it would be strange if they didn't  and a lot of deaths on the roads (most in the world I think) you're a genius

RIP

Hello, in response to your this post, I tried to find out further details of the

Demography of the dead(by nationalities and age groups).

It is regret that I could not  find any immediate  answer.

Info like New Year's road death tolls show up instantly in google search though.

Two deaths under similar circumstances suggest a strong likelihood of foul play. Consuming what were most likely spiked drugs or drinks could be the cause. While a single death might be dismissed as random, the recurrence points to a concerning pattern.

I gotta call BS on that Samui bit, maybe 2 to 3 locals a day unreported but not foreigners.

Expand

What does it matter where they come from it’s still 2-3 a day. The roads on Samui are shocking

Hello, again,

I checked out the world's road death rate ranking.

Looks like the Arab world(Arabian Peninsula area) has got the worst record.

List of countries by traffic-related death rate - Wikipedia

Road traffic death rate (per 100 000 population) - WHO 2019 - List of countries by traffic-related death rate - Wikipedia

And the annual road toll in this kingdom is,18200(2021).

so you did go to the festival ?

I thought I answered that question already.

No but I was at an after party with many of the festival goers where drugs were quite openly being used.

it was quite surprising to me at first, but there were quite a few wealthy Thais there so I assumed that there was some sort arrangement.

only poor people go to jail in Thailand.

You should have been there Ralf, you would have loved it. You missed out again.

A drug related death at a festival is hardly remarkable , It takes more than two to suggest a pattern it could easily be a coincidence, three would be the minimum required to suggest anything more

In my country the vietnamese are too busy running cannabis farms and many of  those with names like Mohammed are vert often to be found dealing in Heroin amongst other things, and often to underage white girls

I wonder what sort of outraged virtue signalling response you will choose in response to my post?

UPDATE

Three foreign nationals were arrested for possession and use of illegal drugs at the Electric Daisy Carnival Thailand 2025 music festival in Phuket. The arrests came in the wake of two drug-related fatalities involving American and Canadian tourists, who overdosed during the event the previous day.

I simply wrote about my own experience.

So if your own experience seems contrary to the one in my country, well, so be it. Your state of facts is certainly as good as mine.

And I was simply suggesting something that might have happened.

And I was pointing at what I think might (or was) a fact, that the Viets are not known to be in hard drugs in my country. And your reply does not contradict that. Cannabis farm, not hard drugs as they are.

But you might certainly be right about the Mohammed(s), if it is bad, it can surely be expected from Arab Muslims, driven my their middle age book, as underage white girls is certainly part of it. Heroin, perhaps. More certainly into selling it to make girls more easily compliant to their desires...
