Well, the average daily temperature is already 1.8° above pre-industrial average, so the Paris Accord is meaningless anyway. They aimed to prevent reaching 1.5° above pre-industrial average. We might as well leave. It was ineffective, anyway. I don't have any evidence, and I'm not a scientist, but I think we'll hit 3.0° above by 2030. Hot season in Thailand will be unlivable for humans. India will be worse. And winters will be colder.
Same here, although I have a few years on you. I have never been hit by a bike. However, when riding, I've been bullied by cars multiple times every ride.
The branch of the Minsiter of Foreign Affairs location is Central World. You need an appointment and you need to do it online. They will ceritfy any official Thai document; passport, birth certificate, marriage license, etc. Just had my wife's birth certificate done as part of preparing documents for her interview and getting her immigrant visa.
If you are trying to do it though the US Embassy Citizens' Services, you should call them first to see if it is possible to do, and/or asking if an IRS representative is at the Embassy. Contacting by phone is fairly difficult. A majority of times they don't answer and the call goes to an answering service, and then the call is not returned. Good luck.
Did you query the Embassy website to see what kind of service they can provide, ala IRS or certifing a Thai document? Normally, it is only documents needed by an American not a Thai.
Spot on! Prevention better than cure, the old adage! But not many people subscribe to health education, primary prevention. They wait until they’re sick then go into hospital!
Yes your alternative forum is
https://aseannow.com/forum/193-marriage-and-family/
You state visa status not relevant.
There is more to being legal father to live in Thailand with extensions from a Non O.
You also point out that you have personal experience in similar situation.
Currently your friend has cooperation from mother. That can change.
You state...."His relationship with the Thai woman is quite stormy and this results in the kid sometimes having to go to Isaan to stay with the family, while things settle down"
Marriage is NOT an alternative many would suggest.
