Well yes, those dissenting from the dominant heterosexual view of human relationships must be crushed.

Said without an iota of introspection.

How about it’s healthy for children to have two parents who love them rather than being left rotting in a children’s home?!

Yes, that is better.

But it would be even better if the parents were male and female.

I have to admit I don't know how many children are being left rotting in a children’s home because nobody wants them.

You'll always have kids who bully but you don't accept it, you teach them that they mustn't. You don't give in  to them.

Thanks for confirming that bullies are a problem.

And as far as I know until now nobody was able to teach all those bullies to be nice.

We live in the real world, and it doesn't make much sense to dream about how nice this world could be if everyone would be nice and play by the rules.

In general, I wouldn't call myself conservative. But then, I am also not what they call progressive. I am somewhere in the center.

I have no doubt that there are loving same sex couples out there who take care of their children and who the children admire.

I have no kids, but observing kids in general offline and online, it seems to me they are as nasty as we were when I was young. And at that time, I don't think we wanted to be nasty, it was just having fun talking bad about this and that, the teachers, other pupils, whatever. And when we found a reason to wind someone up, and that someone reacted in a way which made it fun to wind them up even more, every day, then we did that.

So now, if there is i.e. a sport event at the school, and for most kids father and mother would turn up, but for one kid the two fathers would sit there. Would nobody mention it? Or would there be comments like: What is that? Who is your dad? Does he have a boyfriend. Or something like that. And obviously that would happen again and again and again.

Some kids might be able to shrug it off, no problem. But I am sure other kids will suffer. Maybe quietly, maybe not so quiet. Will they grow up without any damage? I have my doubt.

It would beat the hell out of having only one parent. Or two bad parents. And perhaps it might help the kid to learn that the rabid and obnoxious opinions of others means less than zero?

That is one of those problems.

We all need some time to learn to differentiate between "good and bad" information. Unfortunately, many young people fall for bad information because they haven't learnt yet to see the difference. And even for mature people with experience it is sometimes difficult to tell the difference.

Homosexual religious leaders. All those Priests molesting kids? Homosexuals.

Adoptions by ALL married couples as co-parents are legal in Thailand. Sorry, you lose. Before a person in a same sex couple could adopt as a single person which of course meant much less legal protection for the child over time. This is a step forward for the same sex couples AND their children. Adoption isn't the only way same sex couples have children either often from previously relationships when you consider lesbians.

Adoption as a single parent (M or F) is also legal in Thailand, has been all along.

All pointing to the reality of Thai family life where most parents don't talk a lot to their kids.

E.g. My Thai son often brought 1 or 4 uni buddies home to our very large condo in Bkk to do team case studies.

If I was home my son (rugby player, perfect English) would come immediately to me and give me a kiss on he cheek, as he had done all his life with me and his Thai mother. Often I noticed the other uni boys seeing me son kiss me on the cheek and a bit surprised. Then my son would chat to me for 15 minutes while we made a big plunger of coffee for all.

Many times my son and his buddies had planned an all day session / 4 hr session etc., so i would go outside and buy a lot of fresh noodle dishes and more, bring it home and put all the bowls on the big table where they are working.

Several times I overheard one of son's uni buddies whisper to my son "xxxx do you talk to your father?'  He would respond 'yes of course!'

Also often enough they weren't sure which way to go in a case study. My son would sometimes say 'Dad, please sit down and give us some advice. he would explain the case study / the point at hand in English, doing Thai translation as he proceeded. I would respond with some options and giving reasons for each option.

My son had ben to the homes of several of his class / team buddies and had mentioned to me. 'My friends are shocked that we (son and me) talk and discuss, at their homes they give a polite greeting to their fathers but nothing more'.

The point, They don't learn right / wrong, etc., at home.

You are you. We all expected party line homophobia and intolerance from you. No surprises. You never surprise, with your utter predictability.

Homophobia is a feature of the Socialist Left, where mentally ill exhibitionist and radical homosexuals and transgenders are first used and celebrated as a weapon to destroy the bourgeoise so called "heteronormative" Judeo Christian morality of capitalist systems, and then discarded and persecuted since homosexuality and transgenderism are incompatible with Socialist thought.

Intolerance is a feature of the Left, who seek to shut down all dissenting thought.

I bet you cant show any topic where I have exhibited "homophobia"

Yes. That's the point. Did you miss it? A child adopted by a single parent  because there was no other option when that parent is in couple who wish they could marry, is much better off if they could become legally able to marry. Now in Thailand they can so such a child would then have both of his parents legally recognized as the actual situation -- having both parents.

Those who are opposing homosexuality or are homophobic are mostly people who have homosexual feelings but don't dare to come out and hide these feelings by insulting those who dare to admit it.  words for teh same of homophobia is  not accepting gay people, negative comments on gay people, accuse gay people and many more...So you can state that you are not homophobic but you show in your comments you don't like them

Notice again how the Lefties use homosexuality as an insult.

Your syntax is a bit garbled as apparently your native language isnt English. So reread my posts, where does it show that "I dont like" homosexuals?

Oh it’s a deflection to respond to a gross generalization with facts?

When the “facts” are unrelated to the generalization, yes, indeed it is.

Where do you write that you like them and respect them?

Sorry I can't respect your opinions..You pretend you don't care but when reading your posts it is clear you don't like them at all

And you have no clue that pedophilia is something totally different than being gay

I ignore the sexuality of folks who dont toss it in my face with a righteous fu  attitude.

No where do I claim that paedophilia is the same as being homosexual, although I am sure that from a mental health standpoint there is sexual abuse in the background of many

I glad you did a deep investigation on it and got an university degree for it, although all over the world scientists have other proofs.. But I think who you are and you changed your name and profile so just leave it... I better discuss things with people of my own higher leveled education...They come with facts  and own opinions instead of only comments

You know nothing of my qualifications as to anything. And proofs as to what? Are you contending their is not statistical correlation between homosexuality and mental illness?  I dont quite understand the rest of what you are saying.
