Make it 10-20 million would result in many Thai families losing the ATM as most could never afford that. Would anyone that could afford that much even want to live in Thailand? I doubt it. IMO they'd live in Singapore or Dubai, places with decent infrastructure and no burning pollution.

Soooo, the larger economic punch turns into family disaster and not much money at all.

I'd be fine paying folks a living wage for the food we eat if it means I'm paying more at the store

 

But my point is that the crooked farm owners knowingly employ illegals to lower their costs and line their own pockets, they ain't doing it for your benefit trust me

Every time I hear "Americans won't take those jobs...", I always listen for the rest of the statement that would make it true.  "...at those wages".  You never seem to hear that, though. 

 

If you offered a $million a year, you'd have Americans busting into the queues outside the Home Depots.  I'd even be elbowing my way into the queue.  Of course that's a ridiculous number, but it proves Americans would take those jobs.   If wages weren't depressed by illegals willing to work for less.

 

For those not familiar, Home Depot is where the people queue line up to be selected for day labor, usually construction, and usually off the tax books.  (Americans don't queue up.  We line up)
