SIM card and Bank.
Dtac told me my 15 years old SIM card registration did not show the owner's name or my birthdate. It was registered with my old passport which expired 10 years ago. Dtac was kind enough to show me the last 4 digits of my old passport number. Glad I found the old passport at home. After updating the registration, I was given a receipt to show the banks to reactivate the apps. Long lines at the banks and the phone company.... -

USA Trump Sues Wall Street Journal Over Epstein Birthday Letter Claim
Let's see the letter produced. Then I'll say I was wrong. If it's not and Trump gets a huge pay out be it from a judicial finding or out of court settlement I'll guarantee none of the Trump haters on here will say they were wrong. -

Tourism Phuket Sees Surge in European Off-Peak Travel, Revenue Set to Soar
Yes, but with their pick of dozens of glorious Mediterranean beach resorts with crystal clear water, and usually perfect weather in July and August, Europeans wanting a beach holiday would be crazy to spend all that time and money travelling to Thailand at that time. What Actually Makes You an “Old-Hand” in Asia?
Experienced all of the above, plus a couple more, incl. terrorism (young people being shot dead on a motorbike, just dozens of metres where I lived), bombs exploding exactly where I was (but 24 hours, then 2-3 hours later), Thai people in crazy fights, pulling a homeless Thai guy out of the sea, etc., etc. (I pondered, whether I should write a book about it, but a movie might be more appropriate...) 😆 -

What Actually Makes You an “Old-Hand” in Asia?
Time is irrelevant. Know guys who have been here 25 30 years and can’t really relate to anything much outside of their local area and wife. Can’t even do an extension without an agent. Met one guy a few years back who lived in a condo with his local wife for 18 years in chang phueak, we were talking and as I was getting ready to split mentioned that I was heading to kad thannin in santitham and he said, “Santitham? Kad thannin? Where’s that?” Chang phueak, where else and where have you been? A lot of hermit types here that stay in doors stare at the television all day and the only social activity is when the wife says “ok food ready”.- 1
